WCAW 2nd Meeting, Marseille, 5-7 November 2007 - Calling for Participants WCAW is calling for participants for the above meeting in Marseille. Those interested must fulfil the following requirements: (1) Must work in the area of water management (or at least related to it) (2) Must work in an organisation dealing with water management or related to it (3) Must be committed to water conservation and show past/current results and future plans (in his/her work or the organisation's work) to spread the word as well as work towards the objectives of The World Citizens Assembly of Water - WCAW) (4) Write a paper on their country's water issues and the solutions used to solve them, highlighting the successes as well as the failures (and the reasons). This should include the author's & his/her organistion's work towards helping to solve the country's water problems. Specifically, the organisation should highlight innovative solutions that are unique whenever possible, e.g. traditional solutions versus modern methods (5) Write a short 1 page explanation on how the author & his/her organisation can contribute towards achieving the objectives of the WCAW (please refer to the WCAW website for details) (6) Contact the Secretary Professor Ngai Weng Chan (waterwatchchan@hotmail.com) We look forward to meeting you.
